The Socks

I finished the socks. One of these is the sock that couldn’t get it’s stitch count right.  Wretched sock.

I’m Still Here…

…. alive and knitting.

I’m working on another sock with the Misti Alpaca “Birds in Paradise” yarn. I will post some pictures soon.

And, even though you probably don’t care, I made some banana chocolate chip cookies yesterday.

So there.

Oh, and one more thing…. I turned 14 on Friday.  Any advice on taking a driver’s permit test?  *gulp*

And one more thing…. I have been watching M.A.S.H.  episodes, and they are funny.

And one more thing… me and Mom finished a puzzle this afternoon. It’s a lighthouse scene. 

And one more thing…. just kidding.

I am a good one for secrets.  Just ask around. I’ve even kept secret the location of a Christmas pool table.  And I’ve kept a secret from you, too. You didn’t know about this, did you?

I knit some socks. And I didn’t even tell any of you.

The leg only goes up as far as you see here.  *

The stripes match pretty well. There is a little bit of a difference at the end, though.

I am dreadfully sorry I did not give you any sock-in-progress pictures.

I still have my taos yarn, so that will probably be my next pair. And don’t worry, I’ll post pictures while I am knitting.

 

 

 

*I pointed my toe, because I think it would be a shame if I took a picture of my foot and deliberately flexed it. It would also be a disgrace to the many years I have spent trying to remember to point my toes in the middle of a back handspring. Along with the 6 million other things you have to remember about your form while throwing yourself backwards, flying through the air, (that’s fun) and counting round off, one, two, three, four….. and so on.
