Whacky Cake

This is a picture of swirled caramel-chocolate chips. I used them in place of the chocolate chips for the Whacky Cake frosting. Here’s the recipe: (Be thankful it’s a freebie!)

Mix together:

3 c flour
2 c sugar
1/3 c cocoa
2 tsp soda

2Tsb vinegar
3/4 c oil
2 c cold water
2 tsp vanilla

Mix well by hand, not a mixer. Pour into ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degress for 30 min or until done.

Icing: Melt 6 Tsb butter, 6 Tsb milk, 1 1/2 c sugar in sauce pan. Bring to boil for 30 seconds. Add 1 cup chocolate chips. Blend until smooth. Pour on cooled cake. ENJOY!
